Drillnote

FAQ

How to use this site, what the words mean, and what is in this demo.

Getting around

What is this site?

It's your list of mining companies that are drilling, or about to. Each one comes with the evidence behind it and the people to call.

Where do I start?

Open Priority accounts. The box at the top, "Start here", is the strongest company on the list.

Press "Open the brief" to see why now, who to speak to and what to do first.

How do I find one company?

Go to Priority accounts and choose "All companies". Type the name, a place or a commodity in Search.

What do the filters do?

"What they said" keeps companies with that kind of signal. "How they log" keeps companies that log core that way.

"Signal dated from" and "To" keep companies that said something between those dates.

How do I know what has changed?

Open the Changelog. Every update is listed there, newest first, with what was added.

How was the list built?

"How this list is built" walks through it step by step.

Words on the page

Priority one
A company with one or two operating mines that is drilling, about to, or has just reported on drilling.
Priority two
A company with no operating mine yet that is drilling or about to, and has the money to do it.
Top 10, next 15
The 25 strongest companies on the list, marked in the Priority column. Start with these.
Rank
Where a company sits on the list, strongest evidence first. Priority one comes first, then priority two carries on the numbering.
Signal
Something a company said that matters to you, with the quote, the document date and a link to the source.
Sets the rank
A signal the ranking used. These are checked by hand first.
Also on record
Other things the company said. They did not set the rank, and most have not been checked by hand.
Why now
The one or two strongest signals for a company, with their dates and quotes.
Suggested first step
A plain line on how to open the conversation, based on what the company said.
How they log
How the company logs core, where a document says so. "Not stated" means no document we read says.
Checked by hand
A person read the signal, or the company's ranking signals, against the source document.
Decision maker
The person who chooses the tools. Usually the exploration or geology manager.
Daily user
The geologist who logs the core.
Sponsor
The managing director or chief executive.
Document date
The date on the document itself. A signal can be weeks old by the time you read it.
Verified email
An address we checked before showing it. "On another domain" means it works but is not on the company's own domain.
Report
A flag that something on a record is wrong. It shows as open until we have checked it, then as resolved with what we did.

Favourites, notes and exports

How do I save something for later?

Press the star on any company, signal or person. Your stars are on the Favourites page.

Only you see your stars.

Who sees my notes?

Everyone on your team with a login. Each note shows who wrote it and when.

Only the person who wrote a note can delete it.

What is the difference between a note and a report?

A note is for your team - what happened on a call, or what to do next.

A report tells us something on the list is wrong. It stays on the record, marked open, until we've dealt with it.

Do my stars and notes survive an update?

Yes. They stay with their company, signal or person. If a record leaves the list, its notes say "no longer on the list".

How do I get the list out?

Open Export. You can take one Excel workbook with everything, or a CSV file for companies, signals or people.

Set the signal dates first if you only want what was said in a period.

People and mobile numbers

Where do the names come from?

From the company's own announcements and from LinkedIn. Each person links to where we found them.

Why does someone have no email?

We only show an address once it has been verified. "Not found yet" means none passed the check.

How do I get a mobile number?

Open a person and press "Find a mobile number". The page updates by itself. Most lookups take under a minute.

Every lookup is listed on the Mobile numbers page, and you're never asked to pay twice for the same person.

Are numbers checked against the Do Not Call Register?

No. Check the register before you call or text for marketing.

A person has left the company. What do I do?

Open the person and choose "Report a problem" under Notes. We'll fix it in the next update.

On your phone

Does it work on a phone?

Yes. Every page works at phone width, with the main screens along the bottom and the rest under More.

You can also add it to your home screen so it opens like an app.

About this demo

Is any of this real?

No. Drillnote, every company, person, sentence and date here is synthetic. The screens and the words are the ones a client sees.

Where do my stars and notes go?

They stay in this browser and nothing is sent. Clear your browser's data for this site and they are gone.

How do I see this on my own market?

Request a pull. Tell us who you sell to and we'll send back a sample of accounts in that market, each with the evidence attached.

Prepared by Evidential for Drillnote, a synthetic seller. List of 12/10/2026.
